- 8 a.m-2 p.m. – Chalk Art Festival
- 8:40 a.m. – Scoop and Scurry Fun Run
- 10 a.m.-4 p.m. – We Love Homewood Day Festival
- 6 p.m. – We Love Homewood Day Parade
- 7-9:30 p.m.- Street Dancing in Edgewood

Art in the Lot

Trinity United Methodist Church
Art in the Lot is back again this year, featuring local vendors’ arts and crafts! This free event is open to all, and all are encouraged to sell, shop and discover the talents of artists right here in Homewood. With more than 80 artisans’ work on display, this event will showcase the God-given talent right here in Homewood and beyond. The event is brought to patrons by the Trinity Studio and will be held in the church’s large parking lot. Visit here for more information.
Motherwalk and Run 5K

Homewood Central Park
The Motherwalk and Run 5K is back again this month, supporting the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation. Registration fees for the 5K are $35, and registration fees for the one-mile walk are $30. Find more details and register here.
2024 Birmingham Kidney Walk

John Carroll Catholic High School
As the premier fundraising event for the Alabama Kidney Foundation, the annual Birmingham Kidney Walk’s proceeds benefit South Alabama’s kidney patients with financial assistance. This financial assistance program tailors to dialysis patients with low income, aiding them in paying their bills. By participating in this walk, you will be helping raise money and awareness for a worthy cause. Learn more and register here.
