HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We met in undergrad at Samford University. It was during our very first class freshman year, and we were seated next to each other and became fast friends. However, we didn’t start dating until our junior year in 2016.
THE PROPOSAL
We were visiting Napa Valley to celebrate Robert finishing law school. He proposed at our favorite winery, HALL Wines. I was in complete shock since this was a trip to celebrate him, yet he turned it into the sweetest weekend getting to celebrate us.
PREPARING FOR MARRIAGE
We had several marriage counseling sessions with our officiant who is my sister-in-law’s father-in-law. He made it super light-hearted and fun, which made us even more excited to finally tie the knot.
WEDDING MOMENTS
It was surreal, getting married on the same campus where we met and getting to share the day with all of our closest friends and family–such a full-circle moment. We also hired Airbrush Events out of Atlanta to come and live airbrush custom hats for the guests. They were amazing!
