1. Easter Egg Hunt

The Homewood Easter Egg Hunt is for children up to age 10. Participants will hunt for eggs with children of their own age groupings: ages 0-2: 10 a.m.; ages 3-4: 10 a.m.; ages 5-7: 11 a.m.; and ages 8-10: 11 a.m. Parents, remember to bring your childrens’ Easter baskets, and don’t be late! The eggs go quickly! After the hunt, there will be inflatables, games, crafts and a special visit from the Easter bunny, too. Learn more here.

It’s that time of year again–time to shop till you drop! Join the Homewood Chamber of Commerce and the businesses of downtown Homewood for an all-day shopping experience in which shoppers can expect discounted prices, great deals and pop-up visits from the Easter bunny, too. 3. Niki Sepsas presents: Royal Scandals
Thursday, April 13 | 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Royal scandals are nothing new but all too interesting to learn about. Join Niki Sepsas as she dives into some of the English royal family’s history, secrets and challenges ahead. English tea will be served, and participants are encouraged to bring their own tea cups. This event is free and open to the public, but reservations are appreciated. 4. The Homewood Theatre presents “The Fox on the Fairway”
April 20-30 | matinee–2:30 p.m.; evening showing–7:30 p.m.

The Homewood Theatre is proud to present, “The Fox on the Fairway,” which is a fast-paced golf-themed comedy about mistaken identities, “slamming doors” and romantic shenanigans all wrapped up in a hilarious confusion of sorts. Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased at homewoodtheatre.com. Matinees are on Sundays at 2:30 p.m., and evening showings are on Thursday-Saturday nights each night at 7:30 p.m. This is the perfect date night that you won’t want to miss!
5. The 13th Annual Mutt and Strut: Dog-Friendly 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run
Saturday, April 22 | 7:30 a.m.-noon
Homewood Central Park
Grab your furry friends and join Hand in Paw for an Earth Day celebration, featuring races, contests, vendors and more–all supporting a worthy cause. Runners interested in running the 5K can register online for $30, and those interested in the fun run can register for $25. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. For more information, visit here.
