Mutt Strut 2024

Homewood Central Park

This year’s Mutt Strut will be disco-themed, so be sure to wear your grooviest attire and bring the family out for this annual 5K and one-mile fun run. Attendees of all ages including leashed dogs are welcome to participate in this event. Registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the one-mile fun run. Learn more and register here.

Homewood Library Foundation Block Party

Bring the family out to enjoy a block party benefiting everyone’s favorite library! There will be family-friendly activities, games, music, food vendors and more. Admission is $25 per person for adults ages 21 and up; $10 per person for those ages 4-20; and ages 3 and under get in free. Find more details here.

Girls on the Run BHAM 5K Tutu Run

Benefitting Girls on the Run, this annual 5K is one of the most fun in town–participants are encouraged to dress up in tutus and can even buy their own attire at the race, too. While this event is not judged nor will prizes be given out, runners can track their own speeds. All ages are welcome. Learn more information and register here.
