Thurgood Marshall Symposium

South Central Classic

Don’t miss show choirs from across the state competing in Homewood High School’s Annual South Central Classic! Choirs will perform in their respective categories including mixed groups, women’s groups, men’s groups and middle school groups. Homewood’s choirs The Network, Nexus, and Patriot Singers will host. Tickets are $5 for students or $15 for adults on Friday, and $10 for students or $20 for adults on Saturday. Ticket sales are card-only at the door, no cash. Stay up to date on this event here. 

Patriots & Pickleball

Magic City Pickleball

The Homewood Athletic Foundation is hosting a community pickleball tournament, featuring two tournament-style competitions: competitive (navy bracket) and recreational (white bracket). Proceeds benefit Homewood City Schools’ athletes. Teams may consist of two men, two women or mixed pairs. Priority registration will run through Feb. 7 with competitive fees starting at $100 and recreational fees starting at $75. Click here for more information and to register.
