Samford Athletics is proud to host “Hoops in Homewood,” which will feature the Samford University mens and womens basketball teams showcasing their talents at SoHo Plaza between Social Taco and SoHo Social. Both teams will be available afterwards for photo opportunities. Social Taco will provide free food for students while supplies last. For more information, visit here.

The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon

Hanging of the Green and Lighting of the Way

Samford University’s Reid Chapel
To kick-off the Christmas season, Samford University will host its annual Hanging of the Green and Lighting of the Way events. Attendees can look forward to a candlelit walk across campus, a worship service celebrating the birth of Jesus, beautiful seasonal decor and of course, the lighting of the university’s huge Christmas tree, too.
