HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
Our story began before we were born and continues to be a sweet reminder of how faithful the Lord is when writing our story. It goes back to the early ‘90s when both of our grandfathers were in business together and became friends. It wasn’t until 2019, where the real connection started between the two of us, and we began to learn that our family had known each other for quite some time. We officially met each other through mutual friends in September 2019, and it didn’t take long for us to realize the family connection. We still laugh to this day, thinking about the amount of times we had probably been around each other as young kids but never crossed paths again until 15 years later.
THE PROPOSAL
My family took a beach trip the weekend of Mother’s Day in May 2022. Griffin made it seem as though he could not come. My parents made reservations for dinner one night and told me we were going to take family pictures on the beach before going to dinner. Once we got on the beach to take pictures, I saw Griffin standing with flowers, waiting for me to walk down the beach.
WEDDING DRESS DETAILS
My dress had a 3D floral applique on the top with a simple fitted bottom. I searched online to see who carried the designer, and it just so happened that Ivory and White carried the exact dress I was looking for.
WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE
Engagement season is such a special time to enjoy with all your family and friends coming together to celebrate! Planning a wedding can be stressful and overwhelming, but at the end of the day, all the small details don’t compare to the lifetime of happiness that begins on your wedding day.
