HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
Logan and I met at Homewood High School. I saw him for the first time when he was playing in a basketball game for the varsity team. My friends and I thought he was super cute, and I ended up reaching out to him after the game. It then became a habit to always go to the basketball games and say something to him afterwards. The Homewood basketball team won state that year, and I got to hand out the trophies to all of the players, including him.
THE PROPOSAL
Our proposal was so sweet. Logan and I had been doing long distance while I was in school at Samford University, and he was in New York City at Manhattan College. It was the night before my birthday. Logan flew into Alabama the night before to surprise me at Vulcan with a blanket, champagne and flowers at the exact same spot that we first said, ‘I love you.”
WEDDING DRESS DETAILS
When I put my wedding dress on for the first time, I fell in love with how flattering it was with the split leg and asymmetrical rouching. Those details combined with the strapless top and off-the-shoulder dropped sleeves were perfect together.
WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE
I definitely recommend having a maid of honor, bridesmaids and a wedding planner, who are all encouraging and helpful. My bridesmaids did so much to help me in the process, especially the day of my wedding.
