HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?

We meet in the halls of Ole Miss Law School; our “meet-cute” on a grassy lawn over picnic lunches and case briefings with study groups. He was a 3L headed to graduation and a big firm job, and I was a 1L headed to civil procedure. The rest is history.

THE PROPOSAL

He found “the perfect spot” atop Aberdeen Road, only to realize it was someone’s yard. So, he took down the address, wrote the homeowners a letter and received their approval on Christmas Eve. A few weeks later, we took a drive at dusk. Overlooking the city’s twinkling lights and surrounded by candles, Spencer knelt down and asked me to marry him. I said yes, then lied when he asked if I was crying.

WEDDING DRESS DETAILS

The sample fit me perfectly–that seemed like a sign from the divine. To top it off, the lace on the bodice and cathedral veil made me feel like nothing short of a Romanov headed for a winter soiree.
