2. Patriot Park Streetfest
Saturday, June 5 | 4-9 p.m.
Patriot Park
Inflatables, picnics, face painting, corn hole, live music and more will fill Oak Grove Road for this annual event. The free event will feature music by Rollin in the Hay and food and drink from Ash, Pizzeria GM, Homewood Nutrition, Neighbors Ice Cream, Los Valedores taco truck, Red Mountain Crawfish and Dixie Dogs. 3. Storytime in the Park

Enjoy tunes by The Onlys, grub courtesy of Little Donkey and brew donated by Good People at this annual event benefitting the College Choice Foundation. July 4 Festival
July 4 | 5-9 p.m.
Downtown HomewoodCelebrate Independence Day Homewood style! Two blocks of 18th Street South and one block of 29th Ave South will be blocked for pedestrian to make way for rides and attractions. Inflatables and rides will be in downtown Homewood streets, and music will be playing by a DJ. Catch the Thunder on the Mountain fireworks show from Vulcan Park at 9 p.m. Unlimited attractions wristbands are $10, and you can purchase them a tent near the intersection of 18th Street South and 29th Avenue South.
Sidewalk Sale
July 31
Stop by Downtown Homewood all day and find sidewalks lined with merchandise discounted up to 75 percent. Get there early for the best selection at this annual event.
