Gatsby-Style 1920s Live Murder Mystery

Join the library for a live roaring ’20s murder mystery party game for adults. The roaring twenties murder mystery party game is set at the height of prohibition in a 1920s speakeasy. This mystery party role-play game contains loads of blackmail, deceit, intertwining relationships and murder – all packaged in a fun flapper and gangster-themed murder mystery party! Homewood Library Block Party

Back for the seventh year, this family-friendly fundraiser benefits everyone’s favorite library. Enjoy cold beverages while you sample food and drink from local sponsors. Listen to live music while your kids enjoy book-themed carnival games, a climbing wall and other fun activities. Tickets for adults are $25 and $10 for children (ages 4-21). Children under 4 are free with adult ticket purchases. Ticket purchase includes food, beverages and activities. Tickets are also available at the door. The event is rain or shine. Back to School Bash

Saturday, Aug. 27 | 4:30-8:30 p.m.
Patriot Park

This event kicks off the new school year with rides, bounce houses, food and live entertainment. There is no admission charge but to jump and play on the bounce houses and ride the mechanical attractions, you can purchase a $10 wristband that will provide unlimited access to everything. Proceeds from the wristband sales go to benefit the Homewood High School Band.
