Iron City had a cancelation, so we did a last-minute switch up to a wedding that was just family and wedding party there instead of at Mathews Manor as we had originally planned. It was a blessing in disguise!

Jeff noticed Kathryn kept popping up on their mutual friend Mallory’s Instagram, so he asked Mallory what her story was.

As soon as Mike walked into his house he announced to all of his roommates, “The date was great, and I’m going to marry Mary Katherine Stanley.”

For the ceremony it was just the two of us, and the intimacy of that time together was surreal.

The blessing of seeing all our closest family and friends witness our promise before God to love and serve each other for the rest of our lives was so special.

Melissa and Conner met while interning up in East Tennessee. They’ve always laughed about how they had to travel over 350 miles to meet their eventual spouse after growing up just 10 miles apart.

A dear friend of mine, Enoch, who I met in 2009 in Ghana when I travelled with Semester at Sea, “co-officiated” our wedding with our pastor here in Birmingham.
