How We Met

We met through mutual friends over four years ago at one of our favorite dive bars, Lou’s Pub.

The Proposal

Conor surprised me (Sarah Jane) on our three-year wedding anniversary. The original plan was to go to Gianmarco’s to celebrate, but when I got home from work that day, I walked into flowers, candles, champagne and Conor down on one knee. He had reached out to my boss to setup a fake team meeting around 4 that afternoon, so he, my sister and close friends had time to get everything set up. After he popped the question, he surprised me with an engagement party with close friends and family. It was so intimate and well thought out.

Favorite Moment

It was definitely having our first look at my childhood home. I kept going back and forth on whether I wanted to do a first look or not, but I’m so glad we did. This really made the day so special and helped to calm my nerves. I’ll never forget the look on Conor’s face when I turned around. I always knew I wanted our wedding to be intimate, so it felt so special to me that Conor and I had our first look in my parents’ backyard in addition to my bridesmaids and I being able to get ready at the house I grew up in.

Favorite Details

Our florists did an incredible job with the florals. She made a fantastic floral centerpiece over the dance floor. It was a show stopper. She truly brought our vision to life. Also, we had a fantastic photographer. Ann Wade did an amazing job taking pictures of all the details and special moments throughout the day.

What We Are Doing Now

Conor and I are enjoying married life! We have some fun trips planned for the future and just enjoying every day life together as newlyweds.
