4. Play Date for Pitt Hopkins

Come out for an evening of bounce houses, face painting, zumbini, music, food and more to raise awareness for Pit Hopkins Syndrome and those affected by it like Homewood resident JohnWesley Holley. You can also purchase raffle tickets for $1 each, and all proceeds benefit the Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation.

6. Birmingham Does Broadway: Leading Ladies

7. Open House & Pet Art Show

Standifer’s Animal Clinic
Come out to see pet artwork created by elementary-age students in the summer art program from Hall Kent, Shades Cahaba, and Edgewood elementary schools that will be on display, and then will be permanently placed throughout the hospital. You can also meet the clinic’s veterinary team.
8. Vulcan AfterTunes

Vulcan Park and Museum

9. NASA Night with Astronaut Dr. DeLucas

Homewood Public Library
Astronaut Dr. Lawrence DeLucas will shares his space story, and lunar and meteorite samples will also be on display as part of a lending program with the Johnson Space Center and NASA.
